BIO DIESEL PLANT

NORRES holds over two decades of experience in outstanding engineering and manufacturing of solvent recovery systems and columns which it now brings to the BioDiesel industry. NORRES has vast experience in the process industry translates flawlessly into the BioDiesel industry.

NORRES has a consulting team that offers a variety of services critical to the overall operation of the plant including preparation of an overall business plan, operating and capital budgets and assumption of accounting responsibilities including invoicing and accounts receivable.

The differences whit the other competitor is that NORRES has already been engineering and manufacturing columns, engineering reactors, and other components that are integral part of a BioDiesel plant. This experience ensures favorable end results and optimal performance.

Staying on top of technology is yet another trait that distinguishes NORRES from others. NORRES strives to employ latest technology to improve productivity and minimize human intervention. This ensures the best possible yield on customer investment lowers employee costs and liabilities and reduces human error.

The ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) Standards – NORRES’ biodiesel technology guarantees biodiesel production that meets the ASTM D6751 standards.

Our BioDiesel Technology – Transesterification is the chemical process used in the making of biodiesel. The process separates the glycerin from the fat and produces methyl esters; which is the chemical name for biodiesel and glycerin. The feedstock quality however often varies or does not meet the specifications in which case they are adjusted in a separate feed tank fitted with a steam injector for removal of free fatty acids. The Transesterification process is carried out in two-stages of the sonification unit. The first stage is the pre-reaction stage on the oils and the methalade solution. The second stage is the final stage and is also known as the polishing stage where the reaction is completed. The methanol along with the glycerin and the water is then distilled in a fractionating column and reused in the process.

Integrating with existing plant controls NORRES understands the importance of integrating with customer existing plant control systems. Our engineers have significant experience with many major brands and types of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). NORRES experience also includes the ability to program and integrate many major Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software packages. This experience allows us to accommodate your needs and preferences for your BioDiesel plant. NORRES offers options and solutions, the customer decides the path.
